Letter: Fire Pits Over Community Plan Updates?

Yesterday Mayor Jerry Sanders and my City Council member, Kevin Faulconer, proudly announced that the city budget was suddenly so flush with cash that the city can now pick up the cost of maintaining fire rings at beaches and other parks. This is indeed good news. Did I miss the announcement that funding for the updating of community plans would also be restored?

The llist althroughout the City, of services that could have been restored or Little League field that could have been helped is too numerous to list. Council President Young, if you "stumble" across 200k, Oak Park Little League, or Encanto Little League fiellds can certainly use some help!..........just my opinion
