Pension Reform’s Impact: Fact Check TV

 

In less than two months, San Diego voters will decide on a high-profile pension reform initiative dubbed Proposition B.

The ballot measure aims to replace pensions with 401k-style plans for most new city employees and freeze employee pay for the next five years. How much the measure would save the city is uncertain.

In the latest edition of Fact Check TV, Andrew Donohue and Scott Lewis examine one claim that would undermine a major argument by proponents.
