If it were only like humans racing -- they don't die like the horses do. // How many humans will die in the massive, once every 4 years Olympics compared to the number of horses at the pitiful little Del Mar track? It would take a tragic international terrorist incident in Beijing to kill off enough human innocents to match the expected annual kill off of horses at the race track this season. // Obviously it is OK to kill horses in this culture.

I don't think animals should be used for our entertainment! In this case, horses are treated as another commodity, and not living beings that feel pain!
