Actually, Aguirre has been pro-God. He fought to protect the cross on Mount Soledad. I usually agree with Aguirre, but I disagreed with him on that one. I think it's important NOT to use religious symbols in public memorials.

From today's U-T: "A state report released last night saya arcing San Diego Gas & ELectric power lines ignited the Witch Creek, Guejito and Rice Canyon fires, three of the most devastating wildfires that raged across San Diego County last October."
