Sanders Picks Davies for Airport Authority
Mayor Jerry Sanders has tapped John Davies, a local attorney, to fill Alan Bersin's spot on the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority board. Bersin resigned to tackle border issues with the federal government.
Davies' lengthy resume is spelled out in this letter Sanders sent to council members today. His service includes time on the Centre City Development Corp. board, city Planning Commission and Charter Review Committee.
Davies needs council confirmation to take the position.
