Thursday, June 30, 2005 | My associate Mr. Dumpster’s recent story about Joan Kroc, the Zoo and apes, reminded me of a story from the 1980s about Ray Kroc, the Zoo and a gorilla.
That was the time a group of heroic San Diegans assisted Mr. Kroc in bringing a gorilla from Colorado Springs back to the Zoo here.
