Voters are receiving the handy-dandy Official Non-Partisan Voter Guide with a long list of recommendations on candidate for state and local races. But it turns out the guide isn’t too non-partisan after all.

All nine candidates recommended for office are Republicans. And the guide also lists a number of recommendations for the San Diego Republican Central Committee, so we’re guessing all of those folks are Republicans as well.

Here’s a copy of the guide.

The pamphlet contains a fine-print notice to voters: that all candidates and ballot measures who paid for their appearance in the guide are designated by an asterisk. Each candidate recommended in the guide has an asterisk next to their name.

The address for the guide corresponds with that of Gilliard, Blanning, Wysocki & Associates, a consulting firm that lists many Republican candidates and causes as clients.
