Results from today’s election – ranging from the San Diego City Council to the bench – will be posted on the Web tonight, beginning at 8 p.m.

Local races will be posted on the county registrar’s Web site. Results from the absentee vote will be posted at 8 p.m., and then the first string of ballots that were cast on Election Day will start to trickle in, beginning around 9:30 p.m.

Statewide races and positions that represent districts that pore over into other counties (such as the Filner-Vargas House primary) are available on the California Secretary of State’s site, beginning at 8 p.m.
