Our recent Web travels have introduced us to some interesting local bloggers…
Will Blog For Food. I found John C. Lawrence, who claims he’ll blog for food. John covers a wide range of topics. I especially like his San Diego walking tours. John also blogs about local and national politics, art, technology, and current affairs. A jazz enthusiast, you’ll find his San Diego jazz concert reviews helpful. After one visit, I’m sure you’ll bookmark his site for future reading.
San Diego Restaurants – All that walking make you hungry? Check out this online guide to restaurants in San Diego. Also reviews, recipes, chef profiles and online reservations.
Her bulldog is adorable. That’s not the name of her blog, but Milo is the focus of many posts. Ball Point Wren is a So-Cal look at family life in suburbia, San Diego-style. Check out Bonnie’s site here.
Straight-shooter? The Moderate Voice has quickly become one of the Internet’s biggest and most popular centrist weblogs. It’s written by San Diego resident Joe Gandelman, a political independent and moderate who used to be a San Diego Union reporter and is now a fulltime ventriloquist, plus a host of centrist co-bloggers from several countries. On The Moderate Voice, you’ll find many, many links to Left, Center, and Right Voices. It’s a politico paradise, all neatly organized for your surfing pleasure.
