Mayor Jerry Sanders has nominated attorney Janice Brown and architect Teddy Cruz to the Centre City Development Corp. board, his office announced today in a press release.

Brown is a former Justice Department trial attorney and is the founder of Brown Law Group, a firm that handles business and employment litigation.

Cruz, who holds a master’s degree in design studies from Harvard University, is the principal architect at and founder of Estudio Teddy Cruz, and serves as an associate professor in public culture and urbanism at the University of California, San Diego.

Both nominations are subject to confirmation by the City Council.
