Lindbergh Field is kicking it as one of North America’s better medium-sized airports, according to a study from J.D. Power and Associates, a market research firm.

McCarran International in Las Vegas and John F. Kennedy International in New York were the top-rated large airports; LaGuardia International and Chicago Midway International were tops in medium-sized airports; Dallas Love Field and Houston Hobby International were best among small airports.

Lindbergh Field was tied for eighth among medium-sized airports.

A head’s up: Flying into Calgary’s airport doesn’t appear to be a pleasant experience. It got the worst reviews.

Wait times play a key role in customer satisfaction, a news release said. As long as baggage is delivered in 20 minutes, passengers are generally satisfied, it said.

The list of airports is available here.
