Monday, July 17, 2006 | In Response to Fred Sainz’ comment to Scott Lewis, it raises some issues. The City CFO has been to Kroll to review the report. KPMG and the United States Attorney’s Office have the report. According to Scott, a second draft of the report has been sent to KPMG. Just what is going on? Are these agencies, including the city, being allowed to change the report before it goes to the people who paid for it? Is Kroll putting itself in the same situation as V&E as it relates to creditability? If there is a draft it should be in the hands of the city council and the people. These are the ones who hired these people and the ones who paid them. It really leads to the question of who is in charge of this issue within our city government? Additionally, who employs Kroll?
