An update from the county’s Department of Environmental Health. The beach at the Mission Bay Visitor’s Center is still closed. That’s the only lingering closure there.

A no-swim advisory was posted today at a small stretch of Torrey Pines State Reserve, near a creek outlet. Urban runoff is the suspected cause, the county said.

Similar advisories are posted at Dog Beach in Ocean Beach, P.B. Point in Pacific Beach and Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. And of course, there’s the nine-year-old advisory at Children’s Pool – now infamous – in La Jolla.
