First, let’s address something fundamental: just because something is a blog doesn’t mean contains opinion writing and doesn’t mean it’s done by some sweaty, lonely guy in a basement. Kelly Bennett, who took over for the venerable Will Carless when he began his gallivant around the globe last month, is a professional journalist. And she’ll be doing objective, professional journalism. She’ll do that in her daily news stories and through the Survival in San Diego blog.
