Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006 | Regarding Fiesta Island, the term “Leash-Free Zone” is a euphemism for compressing as many dogs as possible into as little space as possible. This has happened to me and my dogs three times, and now nobody but a few newcomers ever uses them. “Leash-Free Zones” are a waste of taxpayer money, because they just render a piece of land useless. Dogs get aggressive when crowded, just like humans. So please don’t insult dog owners with more “Leash-Free Zones”. We’ll just have to go somewhere else.
