Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006 | Steve Erie, in his usual, clearly spoken self, illustrates (sadly) that the old-boy way of San Diego politics lives on. Since Richard Carson’s financial criticism of the Miramar airport study can’t be discredited on its own merits, his attackers will resort to character assassination. It is no wonder that the voters can’t take this city’s political process seriously.
