An update to the below post: the ethics survey commissioned today from a private firm today will cost the city of San Diego approximately $47,000 – depending on the number of responses. The larger ethics audit does not include additional costs since each element of it will be conducted by staff within the mayor’s Office of Ethics and Integrity, according to Bill Harris, spokesman for Mayor Jerry Sanders.
