Kroll had one. Jerry Sanders liked it. Mike Aguirre decided to release his own.
Now Council President Scott Peters is jumping into the game. At 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning Peters will release his plan for “the first 100 days of governmental and financial reform.” The announcement comes before the City Council is scheduled, at 1 p.m., to consider a plan proposed by Kroll and backed by Sanders to rearrange the city’s financial reporting structure in the wake of the city’s accounting scandals.
The plan has caused somewhat of a schism at City Hall, as Evan McLaughlin reported here last week. The council hearing will be held on the 12th floor of the City Administration Building at 202 C. Street.
Check back with us periodically tomorrow for updates.
