Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006 | The city employees who rally around Ms. Italiano must be some of those who have/or will receive the sweet 100 percent or better retirement packages.

In an article from CityBeat, reporter Thom Jensen uncovers nepotism at MEA where “several family members of (then) MEA President Judie Italiano, including her husband, were working for the union.”

Neither Ms. Italiano or other MEA leaders would comment.

Since these same MEA types are now praising her, why don’t they explain to us average bears who in the Italiano family works for MEA and what their salaries are?

If I belonged to MEA, I would demand some answers. Something seems awfully fishy.
