Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006 | A Mr. Carter (surely a member of MEA) tells me that I should not inquire about the Italiano family employment/welfare plan at the (his) union. Since this plan, especially the special retirement package for a retired clerk, ultimately affects all of us in a fiscally troubled city, I think it is my business.

It’s interesting that no one in MEA will reveal or own up to the Soprano type business arrangement this union has with one family and perhaps others.

Maybe the whole mess will turn into a made for television drama.
