I could not finish my blog today without putting a word in for the Holiday Bowl and this week’s Barona $1 Million Hole in One Contest at the Stadium Golf Center in Mission Valley.
In fact, I’m heading out there this afternoon to serve as a volunteer and hopefully see someone make that hole in one to qualify for a shot (literally speaking) at the $1 million prize. I’ve done this for four years as part of my Redcoat volunteer duties and have yet to see anyone put the ball in the hole. But that’s the type of challenge that keeps golfers coming back again and again and again.
So step up, pay your money and take your chances. Maybe luck will be with you.
