Their argument now is that the United States and coalition forces in Afganistan and Iraq cannot harm the enemy in most ways.
Our troops cannot cause discomfort in any manner to prisoners even though they are not entitled to any benefits accorded to POWs wearing the uniform of any sovereign nation. For intelligence, our troops can go fish.
It is surprising our troops are permitted to place bullets in their weapons or not have to ask permission prior to shooting an Afghan or Iraqi insurgent.
There were about 129 Taliban insurgents attending a funeral. Our military was ordered not to disturb them by missiles, rifles or any type of weapon. Just had to leave them alone till the funeral was over.
I am certain the liberals believe this gesture will be reciprocated by people who desire to take our heads, disect troopers and do anything inhuman to gain information.
I really believe a number of our Senators, et al, want us to lose the mid-east war, just to undermine Bush, whom the liberals hate.
Ted Kennedy and his group of mental dwarfs have no idea as to what they are doing to this country and to our fighting men and women.
