Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006 | A few generations ago, we all paid too much for groceries at mom-and-pop stores. Maybe it was fun to shoot the breeze with Dobie Gillis’ dad, but we didn’t want to pay for it. So the mom-and-pops lost their customers to the

supermarkets.

I can’t believe these supermarkets are complaining about Wal-Mart doing the same thing. Wal-Mart and Target supercenters can’t come quick enough for me.

I voted for Donna Frye, and would do it again, but I think she’s wrong on this topic.
