Monday, Oct. 2, 2006 | In response to “Drinking Milk Safely” and to those of us concerned with raw foods including spinach.

State investigators tested samples acquired from the families, and conducted over 600 tests of farm, cows, pasture, milking equipment, and milk products at Organic Pastures. No E-Coli was found.

It remains that no E-Coli has EVER been found in any Organic Pastures product.

As usual, the major media outlets jump to conclusions over very minor outbreaks of e-coli and food poisoning. In the case of spinach, testing is still being done and may very well show that packaging may have been the problem.

Raw milk and dairy products have been safe for many years, and there is no proof that they are dangerous. In fact, many sites, publications, and well known health practitioners such as Dr. Julian Whitaker, M.D have long debunked myths about benefits from pasteurized and homogenized milk.

We would all be safer if the media were more concerned with the fact that the fourth leading cause of deaths in the USA are prescription medicines, all stamped with approval by the FDA and our fine government.

Raw and organic products are great substitutes for the Standard American Diet (SAD), enough said!
