In the interest of full disclosure, I have to say that moving the airport to Miramar would have a negative impact on my property value and my quality of life, since my house would be near the new flight path.

That said, I do have my suspicions that this is another one of those “let’s pretend this is in the best interest of San Diego, when in reality it’s in the best interest of developers who are really driving this issue.” Anyone who needs a reminder of what that bait and switch feels like needs only to drive down Rosecrans Street in Point Loma and witness Liberty Station.
