So last time I hosted the café, we accidentally stumbled into a fun exercise. People began writing in asking me questions about the city, the Mayor’s Office or other topics. I then spent the day calling sources, tracking down the info and reporting back.

I was, essentially, a reporter for hire. Minus the money part.

So let’s try that again. Last time we turned up some good information. My favorite: We found out, with the help of some great reader questions, that the Mayor’s Office has more press people (five) than policy people (three).

Also, if you have any questions about my special report on affordable housing this week, shoot those my way. Or let me know if you have questions about the city’s SEC settlement that’s on the table.

I’m at your service.
