The newly appointed General Manager of the San Diego Municipal Employees Association (MEA) said, “Now that this city is overly cautious and afraid of its own shadow, we have to come out in a different direction.”
Would that “different direction” come in the form of a newly formed group called “Citizens Against Corruption?” Will that group also address the rampant corruption in the MEA?
That would keep them busy for a very long time…
What San Diego voters and taxpayers should really be afraid of is labor union groups like the MEA lurking in the shadows.
