Monday, Oct. 16, 2006 | I hope you will be equally fair in your assessment of Congressman Bilbray – and not skip the fact that at the same time he was claiming residency in California, he was pledging back east that his real residence was in VA. I hope you will note that even when he is in CA he lives on his boat in Coronado, not at his mother’s house. More importantly, I hope you will point to the huge gap between his claims to represent an environmental perspective and his taking big gifts from the oil industry – and than voting for those oil interests. And I hope you won’t miss his close association with other black sheep like Doug Malcolm.
Brian Bilbray is just another Duke Cunningham, without the war record or the patriotism or even the charisma. And as stupid as Duke was in his actions, Bilbray gives every evidence of being even more stupid.
