Monday, Oct. 16, 2006 |”Under democracy, one party always devotes its chief efforts to trying to prove that the other is unfit to rule-and both commonly succeed and are right.” H.L. Mencken
I’m married to the best candidate for Congress in the 53rd district, Ernie Lippe, but as a third party candidate of integrity and honesty, desiring to only serve his employers, the American people, he can’t get a forum to share his message. The incumbent, Susan Davis, doesn’t even have to put out one yard sign in this horribly gerrymandered district.(Thanks to the Dems in Sacramento.)
You could hear a pin drop in the 53rd campaign with no debates, no media coverage, no serious look at the incumbent’s record of spending and being part of the worst do-nothing Congress in American history.
Citizens/candidates challenging the Republicrats don’t have a chance. Why?
