Friday, Oct. 20, 2006 | Re: “Mayor: Environmental Study OK for NBC.” Please, we don’t need any more acronyms, especially calling the Navy Broadway Complex “NBC.” When I read the headline this morning, I thought the TV network was doing something in San Diego, or Channel 39, which is owned by the real NBC I believe, was doing something that needed environmental review. Issues are confusing enough without using unnecessary acronyms!
