I get kind of stressed out when it comes to dressing up for Halloween – as a last resort in grade school I actually dressed as punctuation, with a white face and black exclamation point right between the eyes. I don’t like candy corn. And I can’t really handle scary movies.
But in a startling union of San Diego real estate and all-things-creepy, this site couldn’t be passed up for the blog. It’s a local website dedicated to the paranormal in San Diego, and it actually has a place for buyers and sellers of haunted properties.
The organization, called San Diego Paranormal Research Project and headed by local psychic Bonnie Vent, says it has teamed up with Realtors to match people who want to buy haunted houses with people who want to sell them. (Take a guess into which category I’d fall.)
One guy in Michigan is looking for “something dark and spooky,” while a seller in Virginia said she’s shared her home with ghosts “and their yellow cat” for 21 years.
“Some people really want to have these types of homes and will pay extra for the added ‘house guests,’” the site says.
(Hat-tip to Inman blog for the spooky site.)
