Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006 | San Diego voters spoke very loudly and very clearly on Tuesday, and it’s a shame.

Even with a clear mandate, we don’t have any control or influence over organized labor.

The municipal labor unions hold the seat of power and will not hesitate to wield the club very liberally to achieve their goals.

The council should implement the Prop C ordinance. But will most likely side with the labor unions. Mandate, schmandate!

At that point it should be crystal clear who holds the key to the future of our fine city. I’ll give you two guesses…
