Reader KW of Mira Mesa offers up a solution to reader Krystal Bell’s worry (see post below) that a Chargers stadium in the South Bay will be too far away for football fans from Riverside and North County:

My suggestion is that Los Angeles is close enough. Let the Chargers go to Los Angeles, and let the N. County and Riverside County people attend the games there while we tax payers enjoy the freedom of not having to support the Spanos Clan in their quest to evade poverty.

On a related note regarding the distance of the football stadium from certain fans: In Milwaukee, my hometown, fans don’t think twice about driving the hour and a half or two hours on Sunday to go see a game in Green Bay.
