The all-home median price dropped to $482,000 in San Diego County last month, DataQuick Information Systems reported today.

That’s a drop of $36,000 from last November’s $518,000 – the highest median price in history.

About 1,000 fewer houses sold in November compared to the year previous, marking a 24.1 percent drop in the sales rate. Homes sold last month numbered 2,987 in the county.

DataQuick reported that Southern California home sales remained at their slowest pace in nine years.

I haven’t seen the breakdown yet this morning for median resale house, median resale condo, and new construction. Stay tuned for more data later.
