If you’re interesting in global warming, here’s a head’s up: Mark Thiemens, an atmospheric chemist at University of California, San Diego, will be lecturing about it Tuesday night at the San Diego Natural History Museum.
He’ll be talking about the reasons scientists know the earth’s climate is changing. According to the museum, he “will discuss wide-ranging analysis utilized to investigate the global aspects of climate and atmospheric change. These measurements are not only done on samples from today’s atmosphere, but also extend back billions of years.”
The talk runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. More information is available here.
