Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007 | Over the years we have lived in San Diego (since 1952) we have owned real estate with other people in joint ventures. We have invariably seen the majority demand the sales when they began to age, or needed immediate cash, without looking at the long-term advisability of leasing rather than selling real estate. We are just selling another birthright of San Diegans for the mess of pottage. It began with Torrey Pines Mesa Pueblo lands, and has continued throughout the years. The fiscal irresponsibility is disgusting.
