In case you missed it, the Union-Tribune ran an interesting commentary by county Supervisor Ron Roberts and Steve Peace, the ex-state senator who now advises developer and Padres owner John Moores.

The two politicos set forth a vision for the waterfront that they describe as comprehensive. One notable goal is to move Lindbergh Field’s terminals to Pacific Highway and to close Harbor Drive south of the airport. You can read it here.

Peace and Roberts will take their show on the road Tuesday, presenting their idea by PowerPoint at an afternoon meeting. The event will be held in the West Coast Room at the Holiday Inn, 1355 Harbor Drive, at 1 p.m.
