Thanks for posting the price Molly. I agree, $26 is not a bad deal, and I might have to check it out. Fast question-do all the upcoming performances and different groups charge a similar prce? Or does the cost fluctuate/vary by who is perfoming? Thanks.
I was surprised when I checked all of the La Jolla Symphony and Chorus performances and saw that each lists a ticket price of $26. I think that’s certainly getting bang for your buck. Billy’s question got me thinking, so I headed to the San Diego Symphony website to check their prices. They’ve got some great stuff coming up. Too bad the “John Williams Conducts” program is sold out. Anyhow, tickets for SDS events go roughly from $20 (top balcony) to $60 for all events that I can find listed.
Since I’m already in search mode, I decided to check prices for other arts organizations. Lamb’s Players Theatre in Coronado, for example, has prices that range from about $25 to $50. La Jolla Playhouse has subscriber package costs listed and individual prices go on sale in May.
Most theaters/symphonies seem to have their own range of ticket prices according to seating area and they are sometimes adjusted according to the performer/performance.
