So, I couldn’t help noticing this headline earlier in the day on the U-T’s website:

Is it just me or is that a weird way to put it in the headline? “He was a happy guy,” they’re telling us, “but being dismembered ruined it.”
The U-T, apparently, agreed that was a bit awkward and has now put up a new headline.

Now, it reads, he was a happy and well-liked …
What? It just ends.
Can’t they just say “man” and let us remember on our own or read in the story again the particularly heinous nature of his violent death?
