If you haven’t been to Yahoo Sports in awhile, I suggest a visit. You might notice some stylistic changes first, which is nice, but not particularly important.

It’s the reporting that matters. And the writing. Tim Brown is one of the finest baseball writers to come along in years, combining a genuine feel for the game with well-honed and creative writing skills. This piece on Padres ace Jake Peavy is a good example.

With Jeff Passan, Mark Pesavento, Dan Wetzel, and lead by editor Dave Morgan, Yahoo Sports has as cracker jack a baseball staff as any on the Internet, or in print for that matter. And they’re all over the sport. If it’s happening in baseball, these guys are on it.

Remember, glove conquers all.
