Wednesday, Mar. 14, 2007 | It was not surprising to learn yesterday that:

“City Attorney Mike Aguirre’s request to have his pension lawsuit heard by the Court of Appeal was denied Tuesday, leaving the case that has become the hallmark of his career up in the air.”

His frantic antics are “not resonating in the court system.” His seething sophistry that ‘fair is foul and foul is fair’ has utterly failed to cast its spell upon the courts.

How much more will he chant his ‘double, double, toil and trouble, till fire burn and cauldron bubble’? Methinks his brew lacked of a particular baboon’s blood, failing thus to confirm its wicked curse. Yet something corrosive ‘hovers through the fog and filthy air’ in troubled remembrance of him, though this too shall pass.
