Mayor Jerry Sanders reported his investment partnership in two technology ventures as well as several gifts he received over the last year in his statement of economic interest.
Sanders said he owns a stake of between $2,000 and $10,000 in Virtual Capital of California and part ownership of between $10,000 and $100,000 in Willow Creek Partners, LLC. Both companies are listed as specializing in technology licensing.
The mayor also reported attending events at the expense of President Bush, San Diego Magazine, the Unified Port of San Diego, San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Asian Business Association and National University, his alma mater. He also disclosed that San Diego State University President Stephen Weber brandished him gave him a photo and football worth $181.
