Councilman Tony Young reported no income outside his council salary and no substantial investments in his annual statement of economic interest.

Young, who also serves on the board of the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, did report receiving $1,079 in travel reimbursements from the agency for his trip to a conference about aviation issues. He also disclosed that San Diego Magazine and Sycuan, the local tribe that operates an East County casino, paid for his attendance at dinner events.
