Wednesday, April 11, 2007 | I continue to be astonished at what is going on in the city attorney’s office. The latest article, “Budget Vote Stopped by Late-Breaking Legal Advice,” by Evan McLaughlin, documents the latest stage in this ongoing melodrama. Aguirre’s office has turned into a black hole sucking up tax payer dollars and time. It seems that these episodes are coming faster and more furiously. People have made comparisons to Quixote but I think, sadly, a comparison to Inspector Clouseau hits closer to home.
