Monday, April 16, 2007 | On the MSCP: The plan itself has not been signed by all the agencies involved. For example the California Department of Fish & Game and the Fish and Wildlife Service have refused to sign because anti-hunting and anti-gun county officials inserted language to the effect that hunting is incompatible with conservation.

Pro-consumptive use officials have been working since to remove that sentence from the plan. Meanwhile these same officials manage their respective lands to include consumptive use.
