Monday, April 23, 2007 | In reading your article by Andrew Donohue regarding the changes offered in health care, he makes reference to the officers being offered the chance to opt out of the health care system offered by the city. Please clarify to the average tax payer that they only can opt out if they are covered by their spouse’s insurance. It would be ridiculous to leave the impression that they could go without health insurance given the nature of their jobs.
