In today’s news story, I reported on a controversial San Diego Unified School District policy that requires school staff to tell parents when they learn that a student is pregnant or is considering an abortion.
At today’s school board meeting, spokesman Jack Brandais told me the school system has received some calls about the story, and that district General Counsel Ted Buckley has promised to review the policy in question next week.
