Four San Diego City Council members have nominated Laurie Black for the Port Commission, two months after she narrowly lost out on the plum political assignment.
As reported minutes ago here in This Just In, Black is indeed interested in running again.
Yesterday, Council members Toni Atkins, Kevin Faulconer, Jim Madaffer and Ben Hueso cosigned a memo nominating Black for the post.
Black also previously had the support of Council President Scott Peters, which would give her the five votes necessary to win the nomination.
