The city of San Diego will hold three public presentations over the proposed update of the general plan, beginning next week.

The general plan serves as the roadmap guiding San Diego’s citywide development for the next two decades. You can view the city’s general plan webpage here.

Here are the meetings:

  • Wednesday, May 23: Malcolm X Library, located at 5148 Market St. in Valencia Park. The meeting will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 30: Mira Mesa Library, located at 8405 New Salem Street. The meeting will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 9: Mission Valley Library, located at 2123 Fenton Parkway. The meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

It is anticipated the City Council will consider the general plan update in the fall.
