Monday, June 4, 2007 | Donna, though not one of your constituents, I would like to comment on your article. I applaud your strong stance and comments on Sunroad. Why-oh-why the mayor and various city building departments have sat on their collective hands and allowed the continuation of the top three or four floors to be built long after everyone else driving by the project early this year was looking at it in askance, has been disturbing. Even when public outcry was increased due to media involvement, Sunroad has been allowed to continue working.

I understand the architect’s desire to have the lovely lines, but they could have been achieved with two less floors, which was an option they had months ago when FAA comments were made public.

I wish you luck in fighting for what’s right and not bending to a compromise.
